Are you looking to take advantage of Travel Tuesday deals this year? I’ll be checking out flight deals in hopes of booking travel to some of my bucket list destinations. Tel Aviv has been on that list for years and now I know exactly where to stay when the time comes for me to plan a trip there!

Carlton on the Beach – The Carlton Tel Aviv is known for its award-winning gourmet breakfast, served in Carlton on the Beach, located directly on the Tel Aviv beach. Once seated, diners can enjoy sea views making them feel as though they are sitting on the water while enjoying a gourmet breakfast including a made-to-order omelet bar where guests can make their own omelet complete with a wide variety of toppings; a juice bar where diners can order juices made from vegetables, fruit and herbs; a special Fish and Alcohol Pairings section offering Cava and smoked and marinated fish specialties and ceviche, a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern sweets bar offering treats such as  baklawa, lokum, and halva as well as hot dishes which change daily like mini-quiche, mini souffle sweet potatoes, kadaif ball stuffed with feta cheese and pesto, shakshouka (also vegan version),  stir-fried vegetables, as well as jachnun and burekas served on Shabbat morning. Vegan friendly, gluten free and sugar free items are also available. 

Blue Sky – For private event fine dining and rooftop cocktails, the Blue Sky restaurant is located on the 15th floor rooftop. 

Lumina – Lumina restaurant, located on the first floor and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, is a fresh and breezy bistro, with floor to ceiling windows available for private events, meetings, and conferences. On Friday evening and Saturday at Noon, Shabbat Dinner and Lunch are served. 

Rooftop Pool, Jacuzzi, and Bar – The rooftop located on the 15th floor offers stunning views across the Tel Aviv port, Mediterranean Sea and the historic city of Jaffa and the urban views of the city and boasts an outdoor pool (closed during the winter months) Jacuzzi, sun beds with umbrella shade and a fully stocked bar, making it the perfect setting for a tranquil and relaxing afternoon. Guests can enjoy drinks from the bar while watching the sunset. The rooftop is for the private use of hotel guests only.

Lobby Restaurant and Beachfront Bar– Located in the newly renovated lobby, the Lobby Restaurant offers guests a variety of options in a casual setting including burger, fish, salads, and vegan options. The newly designed lobby features a relaxing area, working space and a circular beachfront bar, where drinks and bites are served all day and night. 

Esperanto Bar – Open May – October, the Esperanto Bar is located on the beach and adjacent to the Carlton on the Beach restaurant offering summer bites, delicious cocktails, DJs on rotation and the best sunset views with a true local Tel Aviv vibe to guests and non-guests. 

Business and Meeting Facilities / Amenities:

Royal Executive Lounge – Whether guests need a space to work, or just a little quiet, the Royal Executive Lounge, located on the 14th floor, offers guests all the office services they require with the comfort of “working at home.” Computers and complimentary WIFI, newspapers and magazines, secretarial services and more are available in a space with floor to ceiling windows, affording spectacular sea views of Tel Aviv. With a light all-day buffet and drinks included, the Royal Executive Lounge has everything guests need to do business, or simply relax in comfort and style. Access to the lounge is offered to Executive floor guests only 18 years and older.

Meeting Facilities – The hotel offers 10 state-of-art conference rooms and banqueting halls which can accommodate from 10-300 attendees. Rooms offer both ocean and city views and can be configured in classroom, theatre, and U-Shape, for meetings, lectures, and workshop, including computers, WIFI, projectors, flip charts and more. Blue Sky and Lumina restaurants can also be rented for private group events and meals.

Gym and Spa The Carlton Tel Aviv’s Gym and Spa offers guests a fully equipped state-of-the-art gym, nine large LCD screens where workouts can be done against a live feed of the Mediterranean Sea as well as the artwork of David Gerstein. The intimate and modern spas offer a wet and dry sauna, jet shower, a relaxing menu of massages, spa treatments as well as a small healthy buffet offering snacks, herbal teas, and cold drinks. Trainers are available upon request.


Art Installations:

The 2019 renovation of the hotel included a new collaboration with leading contemporary art galleries based in Tel Aviv. Contemporary art from local artists is exhibited throughout the hotel, including Ohad Benit, Eitan Ben Moshe and Gal Sasson.
