Disneynature Penguins – In Theaters Today!
“Disneynature’s all-new feature film “Penguins” is a coming-of-age story about an Adélie penguin named Steve who joins millions of fellow males in the icy Antarctic spring on a quest to build a suitable nest, find a life partner and start a family.” As a big fan of Disney films and someone who cares deeply about conservation, this film captured my heart within the first five minutes. The cinematography is absolutely stunning and you’ll find yourself emotionally invested in Steve’s journey. Ed Helms (from the hit series The Office) narrates the movie and gives voice to Steve making him endearing, funny, and relatable to parents everywhere and the struggle of raising kids, keeping them safe, and preparing them for the world that awaits them. In this case, however, the struggle takes place in (way) below freezing temperatures and involves keeping the kids safe from predators on land and sea! Now that’s what I call a parenting challenge! Penguins is entertaining, educational, heartwarming, and hilarious; a great film for all ages. It will move you to make this planet a better place for penguins… and for people. In Disneynature’s conservation tradition, for every ticket sold between April 17th and April 23rd Disneynature will make a donation to the Wildlife Conservation Network to help protect penguins across the southern hemisphere. So, waddle into the theater and go see Disneynature Penguins this week!
**I was invited by Disneynature to attend the NYC premiere and party of Penguins. (Check out some of the fun from the day below) All opinions are honest and my own.**
