Walt Disney Pictures – Christopher Robin
Last month, while attending the 2018 Disney Social Media Moms Conference, I got a sneak peek of Walt Disney Pictures upcoming movie, Christopher Robin. Watching the movie clip was emotional for me. It brought me back to my own childhood as well as to my time as new Mom. Both myself and my children have grown up with Winnie the Pooh books and movies; my oldest son’s very first stuffed animals were the entire Hundred Acre Wood gang. I could not get Pooh without Tigger and Tigger without Eeyore and well, you get the point. Truth be told though, I wanted them just as much for myself as I did for him. Christopher Robin and his friends helped to foster my children’s imaginations and also helped me to teach my children kindness and acceptance. During the Conference, I also had the chance to hear the movie’s Producer Kristin Burr talk about making the movie. She shared how the film’s sweet story will resonate with not only the older generation of Winnie The Pooh fans but will bring a whole new set of fans to this lovable group of characters. I’ll be sharing some of Kristin’s wise words (without giving away any movie spoilers or info) in a later post so be sure to check back here in a few days. I’m thrilled to share the new teaser trailer for Christopher Robin with you. I can’t wait to see it when it arrives in theaters on August 3, 2018! So mark your calendars and take a look:
